This sponsorship form is for student events and programs that align with Social Justice Initiatives and Identity Programs' mission, vision, and pillars.
Mission: The Office of SJI&IP charge is for every UC Merced scholar to thrive in our multicultural global society.
Vision: The Office of SJI&IP aims to enhance the retention of our historically underserved scholars and foster an inclusive campus environment by providing opportunities for holistic development, intersectional community building, and student agency.
Pillars: Coalition Building, Collective Healing, Education/Training, Sense of Belonging, Living Learning Communities
All sponsorship requests must meet the minimum requirements:
- Must submit proposal and breakdown of requested funding
- Must be in good standing with SJI&IP
- Student programs must fall within our mission, vision, and pillars
*Requests must be submitted 6-8 weeks before your event/program.*
If your program is approved:
- Your point of contact will receive an email with your approval
- You will be expected to attach our official logo to all marketing and advertisement as an official sponsor
- Transfer of sponsored funds will be made to listed RCO accounts or UCM Department COA
