SJI&IP Policies for Center Reservation

In order to ensure proper usage of and respect for SJI&IP centers, the following list of policies and procedures will be utilized to facilitate center reservation requests. Designated spaces for student group meetings, events, and staff meetings/staff events have been established and should be kept in mind when submitting reservation requests. UC Merced and SJI&IP affiliated groups are granted priority when requesting a venue.

The Multicultural Center (MCC) is our largest center that is able to be reserved. It is located in Kolligian Library 169 and is open from 9am - 5 pm.

The Black Scholars' Rersource Center (BSRC), located on the side of Granite Pass facing Little Lake, offers two spaces that can be reserved. The main lounge is in room BSRC 102 and just next door is the meeting space in BSRC 101. Both spaces are open from 9am - 5pm.

The Asian & Pacific Islander Resource Center (APIRC) also offers both a lounge and separate meeting space that can be reserved on the corner of Sentinel Rock in rooms SR 101 and 102. These spaces are open from 9am - 5pm.

Reservations are limited to one pending reservation at any given time. All reservations must be requested and approved in advance of the event date. I

By reserving an identity center, I agree to comply with the rules and guidelines set forth by the Office of Social Justice Initiatives and Identity Programs. These guidelines include but are not limited to these statements:
