The festival takes place annually every Friday in February. The films being screened this year will be posted mid Janruary.

Annual sponsors for the Human rights film festival include: UCM Center for the Humanities; School of Social Sciences, Humanities & Arts, UC Merced Arts, the History and Critical Race and Ethnic Studies departments, and Social Justice Initiatives & Identity Programs
