Welcome Reception
February 21st, 2023
To celebrate the opening of the API Resource Center, students were able to experience performances from API organizations on-campus and enjoy some delicious food and Boba. Students also had the opportunity to network with API organizations and learn more about what each organization brings to the UC Merced campus. The APIRC also recieved the Senate Certificate of Recognition and opened the opportunity for students to learn and explore API cultures and food.
Holi Celebration
March 16th, 2023
Holi is a Hindu festival of color that is celebrated in the month of March. This year, the Asian and Pacific Islander Resource Center celebrated this festival by spreading color in a twist! Students were able to paint and DIY white t-shirts, dot-rock painting, and leave their handprint on a large canvas with a note so future Bobcats can read it when they enter the APIRC!
